Design, engineering and manufacturing strengths:
The Octamec Design and Engineering department has a team of highly qualified engineers, checkers, detailers, designers and architects, for designing and constructing the world class pre engineered steel buildings. The innovative output of our highly skilled engineers and draftsmen precede every part of the calculations to enable consultants, worldwide, to understand every facet of the design of an Octamec Steel Buildings. Octamec Building Systems, uses an in-house custom developed design and structural analysis software ODDS (Octamec Design and Detailing Software) to design your building with top most precision and optimal use of steel. Software complimenting ODDS such as XSTEEL and STAAD are also used for detailing and structure analysis respectively.
Production strengths:
The Octamec Building Systems plant at Taloja, Maharashtra is equipped with the latest most
sophisticated manufacturing equipment, using CNC oxy-acetylene and plasma-cutting, Automated Pull through beam welding, painting, computerized pre-punched roll forming machines, and super standing-seam machine (taper, concave and convex profiles). A quality conscious workforce guided by QC operations at every station adds up to a virtually fault-free finished product. The manufacturing process is streamlined to ensure that by the end of the production cycle each building is ready to ship on time every time. Our quality management systems are compliant with ISO 9001 standards.

Logistics strengths:
We deliver and offload at the site for you anywhere. Delivery is undertaken quickly and efficiently utilizing road transportation. All materials loaded for delivery are part-marked and cross-referenced for simple and accurate Identification. Material loaded is assembled according to the site requirements and erection sequence.

Octamec cranes
PEBO buildings are designed to support any type of crane system. Overhead traveling cranes up to 20MT can be supported on brackets and higher tonnages can be supported on an independent support mechanism. Crane supports for overhead traveling cranes include beams, brackets and bracings.

Octamec Building Systems caters to customer requirements of building type, space efficiency, building utility and designing flexibility. PEBO buildings are designed by our architects solely with customer requirements in mind and within the parameters of the pre-engineered structures.

Mezzanine floor systems
Standard mezzanine floor systems consist of galvanized steel decking supported by joists framed onto the main mezzanine beams. The main beams can also be supported by intermediate columns depending on design requirements. The main mezzanine beams should ideally run parallel to the primary rafters and joists should run parallel to the roof's purlins. A reinforced concrete slab (not supplied by Octamec) is cast on top of the floor decking sheet.
