Octamec to implement SAP

After due deliberation and a significant number of hours spent on understanding various ERP solutions Octamec has singled out on SAP to be implemented as an ERP package to cater to our various verticals.
We have selected Bristlecone (a Mahindra group company) to be our implementation partner for the same owing to the sound experience they have demonstrated in executing projects for companies in similar business domains.

Our implementation of SAP will cut across most of our departments and shall include finance, sales, procurement, human resource, production and projects functions.

According to Sovin Hegde, our MD, “Implementing SAP will definitely help increase the productivity of employess across the organization. It will help people to work more quickly and cost-effectively – connecting them directly to business processes and delivering the information and capabilities they need to make decisions and take action.”

According to a brief given to Octacentric by the IT department, Octamec has set itself an ambitious target to Go-Live within a span of 5 months. The process owners as well as core teams have already been identified within the organization and we expect our implementation to kick off by November 1st.
