Department - Administration
This month we highlight the Administration department of Octamec.
Following are the roles and functions:
- Organize and coordinate office staff meetings
- Management of travel and transport and hotel bookings
- Purchase of office equipment, stationery, AMC’s etc.
- Management of housekeeping and maintenance of the premises
- Management of pantry

- Updating files and records and preparing reports
- Maintenance of company assets
- May supervise administrative activities related to fiscal management, human resources, procurement and other administrative activities
- May serve as a specialist responsible for gathering facts, analyzing findings, reaching logical conclusions, recommending solutions and coordinating confidential or highly sensitive projects
- Frequent contacts with management and staff, general public, board of directors, and government officials to plan and/or coordinate activities and to serve as a resource person on administrative policies and procedures
