This month we highlight the Administration department of Octamec. Following are the roles and functions:

  • Organize and coordinate office staff meetings

  • Management of travel and transport and hotel bookings

  • Purchase of office equipment, stationery, AMC’s etc.

  • Management of housekeeping and maintenance of the premises

  • Management of pantry

  • Updating files and records and preparing reports

  • Maintenance of company assets

  • May supervise administrative activities related to fiscal management, human resources, procurement and other administrative activities

  • May serve as a specialist responsible for gathering facts, analyzing findings, reaching logical conclusions, recommending solutions and coordinating confidential or highly sensitive projects

  • Frequent contacts with management and staff, general public, board of directors, and government officials to plan and/or coordinate activities and to serve as a resource person on administrative policies and procedures
