The Octamec Group is currently constructing a PEBO Pre-Engineered Building for a retail outlet for Bharti Walmart in Kota, Rajasthan. In August 2007, Walmart had announced an agreement with Bharti Enterprises to establish a joint venture, Bharti Walmart Pvt. Ltd., for wholesale cash-and-carry and backend supply chain management operations in India.
Bharti Walmart chose Octamec PEBO over other concrete structures because a PEBO building gets constructed at a much faster pace than conventional buildings with a lot of flexibility in terms of low maintenance requirement, easy dismantling and relocation, easy future expansion and modification.
Leak-proof standing seam SAFZIP roof sheeting has been used for the first time by Octamec with a weld mesh and polycarbonate insulation that gives the structure an aesthetic look, both from the top and inside the structure. The double liner panel for the walls reduces heat and acts as a coolant inside the structure.
